The BuildZero academic consortium is keen to engage with new academic and industry partners to deliver on this programme. We have a strong collaborative and interdisciplinary research team, and growing engagement with stakeholders.
A stakeholder in the BuildZero project could provide:
Expertise and Knowledge: Insights into industry practices, innovative solutions, and technical know-how.
Resources and Funding: Financial support (either directly or indirectly), materials, and technology needed for research and implementation.
Data and Case Studies: Real-world examples, data sets, and case studies for validating and refining CE solutions.
Collaboration and Networking: Access to a network of professionals and organisations for broader collaboration.
Pilot Projects: Sites and opportunities for testing and demonstrating CE solutions in real-world settings.
Policy Advocacy: Support in influencing regional and national policies to adopt sustainable building practices.
Market Insights: Understanding of market demands, trends, and potential barriers to adoption.
There are a number of ways to get involved in the project:
If you are interested in becoming an official Project Partner on BuildZero and would like to join our Stakeholder Consortium, please provide a letter demonstrating how your organisation can contribute to the objectives of the research grant, and what this equates to in terms of a direct/indirect cash contribution. An example of the text can be found here.
This will then be reviewed by the Management board to confirm that your organisation aligns with the BuildZero vision.
If you believe you could contribute to the aims and objectives of the project, please contact buildzero@sheffield.ac.uk.
